Wisconsin LSAT Testing Locations

The LSAT exam in Wisconsin may be held on weekends or public holidays.

Wisconsin is located on the territory of two physiographic regions of the United States. The Northern Highlands of Wisconsin is a vast plateau, part of the Laurentian Uplands. The rolling plains of the Western Highlands, the flat lowlands of the Central Plain, and the interspersed ranges of hills and valleys along the shores of Lake Michigan in the eastern part of the state are all part of the US Interior Plains. Many rivers flow through the lands of Wisconsin, a significant part of it is covered with forests.

Some Notable Wisconsin Natives and Residents

  • John Muir (John Muir, 1838-1914) – naturalist and writer, one of the initiators of the creation of nature reserves in the United States, known as the “Father of National Parks”. Born in Scotland, but later lived in Wisconsin.
  • Charles Richard Van Hise (1857–1918) was a geologist. Born in Fulton.
  • Carrie Chapman Catt (1859–1947) was the leader of the suffragette movement in the United States and played a large role in the struggle for the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment to the US Constitution, giving women the right to vote. Born in the city of Ripon.
  • Frank Lloyd Wright (Frank Lloyd Wright, 1867-1959) – famous architect, creator of the philosophy of “organic architecture”. Considered “the greatest American architect of all time”. Born in Richland Center.
  • Harry Houdini (Harry Houdini, 1874-1926) – famous illusionist and performer of “escape tricks”. Born in Hungary, but spent his childhood in Appleton, Wisconsin.
  • Douglas MacArthur (Douglas MacArthur, 1880-1964) – famous general, participant in the First and Second World Wars, as well as the Korean War. He was born in Arkansas, but later lived in Milwaukee.
  • Georgia O’Keeffe (Georgia O’Keeffe, 1887-1986) is a well-known artist. Born in Sun Prairie.
  • Thornton Wilder (Thornton Wilder, 1897-1975) – writer and playwright. Born in Madison.
  • Golda Meir (1898-1978) is a politician and prominent statesman of the State of Israel. Born in Kiev, but later lived in Wisconsin.
  • Spencer Tracy (1900-1967) is a famous film actor. Born in Milwaukee.
  • George Frost Kennan (George Frost Kennan, 1904–2005) was a dimlomat, known as the ideologist of the “policy of containment” during the Cold War. Born in Milwaukee.
  • Woodrow Charles Thomas “Woody” Herman (1913–1987) was a renowned jazz musician and bandleader. Born in Milwaukee.
  • George Orson Welles (1915-1985) – famous actor, screenwriter, director. Born in the city of Kenosha.
  • Lester William “Les Paul” Polsfuss (1915–2009) was a musician, poet, and one of the inventors of the electric guitar. Born in Wakeshaw.
  • Richard Ira Bong (Richard Ira Bong, 1920-1945) – fighter pilot, participant in World War II. Considered the most successful combat pilot in US Born in the city of Superior.
  • William Hubbs Rehnquist (1924–2005) was a lawyer who served as Chief Justice of the United States from 1986 to 2005. Born in Milwaukee.
  • Seymour Cray (1925-1996) – engineer, creator of a series of supercomputers. Born in Chippewa Falls.
  • Willem Defoe (William Defoe, 1955–) is a film actor. Born in Appleton.
