THURSDAY TESTING, (FYI: WEEKDAYS MAY VARY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR)
If you are driving FROM the west – TO the east on Saint Joseph St. (SAINT JOSEPH ST. TURNS INTO E. SAINT JOSEPH ST. AND IS A ONE-WAY ST. HEADING EAST): Watch for Birch Ave that runs north to south and intersects with E. Saint Joseph St. To your right, you will see a student union building named the Surbeck Center on the corner of E. Saint Joseph and Birch Ave. Just past the Surbeck center, you will see an entrance into a large parking lot, also to your right. Turn into that parking lot. The Surbeck Center will again be on your right and across the parking lot to your left is the Devereau Library where the FE and GMAT test are given. You can park anywhere in the parking lot where you can find a marked space available. Enter the library through the main front doors that face in towards the campus. A test proctor or librarian will be available at the front desk to greet you. MAKE SURE YOU OBTAIN A PARKING PASS AT THAT TIME AND PLACE IT ON YOUR CAR’S REARVIEW MIRROR. THE TESTS ARE GIVEIN IN THE BASEMENT OF THE LIBRARY. LOOK FOR THE SIGN ON THE DOOR THAT INDICATES TLC (TECH LEARNING CENTER). TO GET DOWN TO THE BASEMENT YOU MAY USE THE STAIRS ON THE RIGHT OR THE ELEVATOR ON THE LEFT, (LOOK FOR THEM HALF WAY INTO THE MAIN LIBRARY FLOOR). If you use the stairs to go down to the basement, the waiting room will be across the room, (veer to your left). If you use the elevator, once you step off the elevator, turn to your right and walk until you will see a conference table and chairs, again on your right. A test proctor will also be available on the first floor (basement) to direct you.
If you are driving FROM the east – TO the west on E. Saint Joseph St. the it turns into a ONE-WAY street just after the cross street of University Loop on your left-hand side. Continue on until you see a cross street, on your left again, that crosses E. Saint Joseph, again to your left and into a large parking lot in front of the Surbeck Center, which is on the corner of E. Saint Joseph St. and Birch Ave.
The Surbeck Center will be on your right once you turn into the parking lot and the Devereaux Library will be to your left. (Please see the information above for further instructions once your have turned into the parking lot on campus.)
FOR SATURDAY TESTING

Continue on until you see a cross street, on your left again, that crosses E. Test Center Information
The Testing Center at South Dakota State University is just south of the Dairy Bar; located between Berg Ag Hall and the Intermeral Building (The Barn). Parking is available in Lot 110 – Dairy Science. Follow the orange detour signs to Lot 110 due to the significant construction on campus. Please get a Parking Pass from the Testing Center Secretary to avoid a parking ticket.
GMAT Exam Dates in South Dakota
Unlike some paper based exams, the GMAT is computer based. Therefore, there are no fixed test dates for GMAT. Wherever you are in South Dakota, all test centers are open from Monday through Saturday throughout the year. Some even offer the exam every day of the year. However, some test centers are not open on Sundays and national holidays. For example, most college-based test centers might be closed for extended periods around holidays.
