GRE Test Dates
There are two types of test format offered by the test maker – ETS: Computer-delivered and Paper-delivered GRE general tests. For computer based test format, the GRE General Test is offered year-round on a continuous basis, and available for registration on a first-come, first-served basis. For paper based general test, testing is available three times per year. The following test dates apply:

GRE Subject Tests in Minnesota

Minnesota Overview
The state of Minnesota is located in the Midwestern United States and belongs to the Northwest Central States. Minnesota borders Canada (with the provinces of Ontario and Manitoba) to the north, the states of Michigan to the northeast (water border on Lake Superior), Wisconsin to the east, Iowa to the south, South Dakota and North Dakota to the west. Minnesota is the northernmost state in the continental United States, only Alaska is further north.
Minnesota is located on the territory of two United States physiographic regions. The northeast of the state is part of the Laurentian Uplands, this region is characterized by numerous rocky outcrops with a thin layer of soil, thousands of lakes and streams. The rest of Minnesota is part of the Interior Plains. The northwestern districts of the state are covered with mixed forests, the southeastern districts are predominantly deciduous. The west and southwest of Minnesota are prairies covered with grasses and steppe shrubs.
In the “Land of Ten Thousand Lakes” there are actually even more, more than twelve thousand. There are also about six and a half thousand rivers and streams in Minnesota, including the sources of the largest river in the United States – the Mississippi.
Minnesota has a continental climate with cold, snowy winters and hot summers. The counties located near Lake Superior are significantly influenced by this huge body of water, which somewhat softens the weather conditions in them. It is on the territory of Minnesota that the coldest place in the territory of forty-eight ” continental states ” is located. The southern part of Minnesota, located in the ” tornado alley ” zone, is quite often hit by destructive whirlwinds.
