GRE Test Dates

There are two types of test format offered by the test maker – ETS: Computer-delivered and Paper-delivered GRE general tests.  For computer based test format, the GRE General Test is offered year-round on a continuous basis, and available for registration on a first-come, first-served basis. For paper based general test,  testing is available three times per year. The following test dates apply:

The state of Wisconsin is located in the Midwest of the United States and belongs to the northeast central states. Some National Historic Landmarks in Wisconsin

  • Maine Mound (Man Mound, “Man-Barrow”) in the city of Greenfield – a mound poured by the Indians about a thousand years ago. The only one in the US whose shape resembles a person.
  • Aztalan is a state park located in the city of Aztalan, created on the site where in the 10th-13th centuries there were settlements of the Indians of the Mississippian culture.
  • The Milton House Museum is a building built in 1845 in the city of Milton that served as an “underground railway station” (shelter and refuge) for runaway slaves.
  • Fountain Lake Farm in Montello is the house where John Muir, known as the “Father of the National Parks of the United States”, lived from 1849-1856.
  • North Hall is the oldest building on the University of Wisconsin Madison campus, built in 1851.
  • “Little White School” (Little White Schoolhouse) – a building in the town of Ripon, in which in 1854 the creation of the Republican Party of the United States was announced.
  • City Hall is the Milwaukee City Hall, built in 1895 and the tallest building in the city until 1973.
  • The Van Heise Stone is a rocky monolith near the town of Rock Springs, named after the prominent geologist Richard Van Heise, who worked in Wisconsin in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
  • Fourth Street School in Milwaukee, where future Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir studied from 1906-1912.
  • The Harold C. Bradley House in Madison is a Prairie School building built in 1909.
  • The Wisconsin State Capitol, built in the city of Madison in 1917
  • The headquarters of SC Johnson & Son is a complex of buildings in Racine, built in the thirties of the XX century by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
  • The University of Wisconsin Arboretum in Madison is a conservation area created in 1932 that preserves the ecosystem of different North American biomes in several areas.
  • The Greendale Historic District is one of three communities built by the US government in the 1930s as part of the New Deal and Green Belt projects near Milwaukee. It was created as a model of suburban development.
  • Submarine Museum “Cobia” (USS Cobia), launched in 1943 in Connecticut and took part in World War II in the Pacific. Located at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc.
  • The First Unitarian Societyis a church in Shorewood Hills built in 1951 by Frank Lloyd Wright.
