Harvard Law School is the world’s premier center for legal education and research. At the center of the HLS experience is learning from and working with teachers who shape the landscape of the law. Each year, HLS offers nearly 200 seminars and classes with fewer than 25 students, an extensive clinical program, study abroad, joint degree programs, and is home to more than 15 research centers.

HLS has more than 100 organizations that enhance academic and social life, including many of the country’s leading law journals and more than 90 student groups. Its collections, numbering over 2.5 million in total holdings, support the teaching and research activities of HLS, and serve as a resource for scholars worldwide. The school is housed in 21 buildings, including a new building adding some 250,000 square feet.
