The College of Law’s practical skills training program has been recognized by National Jurist and Pre-Law Magazines. The College of Law offers four (4) in-house clinics, four (4) external clinics and judicial externships. Students are required to take a clinic or complete 20 hours of pro bono service. Students may participate in Int’l Study Programs that offers a Certificate in Int’l Justice.

The FAMU Law Review is published annually. The College of Law sponsors ten (10) practice skills competitions, five (5) moot court competitions, two (2) mock trial competitions, and the ABA Client Counseling, Negotiation and Arbitration Competitions. Career services operations The Office of Career Planning and Placement (OCPP) serves as a professional employment and preparation resource for students and alumni. OCPP assists in preparing resumes, developing career plans and job strategies, and assisting with interviewing skills. OCPP sponsors programs, workshops, and seminars for students.
