Full-time program
Academic records and test scores are evaluated to assess ability to succeed in the program. Full-time work experience is desired with rare exceptions made. Applicants under consideration are selected to be interviewed. All applicants’ essays, recommendations and interviews must fit the Vanderbilt MBA culture – demonstrated leadership, service, teamwork and ethical behavior.
Executive program
The Vanderbilt EMBA & Americas MBA for Execs are 2-year programs that focus on strategy, advanced financial frameworks and leadership for sr managers and execs. Both programs feature a strategy sequence and consulting project in the 2nd year. The Americas MBA features residential immersions in Canada, Mexico, Brazil and the U.S.

Full-time program
The two-year MBA is a 62 credit hour master’s program. The curriculum includes 22 hours of foundation courses in the first two mods (four mods per academic year) as well as management electives that prepare students for concentrations in 7 areas and specializations in 5.
Executive program
The Vanderbilt Executive MBA is a full two-year “lockstep” program, focusing on advanced financial frameworks, strategy and leadership skills at an executive level. Year 1: 30 credits of core MBA curriculum. Year 2: 30 credits – Strategy Sequence – teams complete strategic plan for clients; Global Sequence – ends with residency outside the US; Venture Creation – new business plan.
