Admission decisions are based on leadership potential, as demonstrated through work experience, extracurricular activities, essays, and two letters of recommendation, as well as standardized tests and academic record. An invitation-only interview is also a component. |

| Since its founding in 1974, the Yale School of Management has gained international recognition for its innovative approach to management education. In 2006, the school introduced the Yale integrated MBA curriculum, replacing traditional functional courses with cross-disciplinary courses. All MBA students also complete an international seminar during the first-year. |

| The Yale MBA curriculum is designed to educate and provide the essential tools to enable students to understand organizations, markets and their interplay with the broader society. The Yale MBA-e: Leadership in Healthcare program combines this curricular model with a healthcare-exclusive student population to bring together the industry’s business, clinical and societal aspects. |
