The island of Aruba (the territory of Holland) is located 30 km from the coast of Venezuela in the ridge of the Caribbean islands of the Atlantic Ocean. Due to the very dry climate in Aruba, you can see a wide variety of cacti that blend well with the hilly landscape of the island and give it a special uniqueness. Sand dunes and rocky cliffs characterize the north coast, bright colored houses with Dutch architecture are typical of the central part of the island and the island’s capital, Oraniestad. The entire southwestern coast is a continuous beach strip stretching for kilometers – the famous Palm Resort and Eagle Beach Aruba.
Aruba is a separate administrative unit of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with internal self-government. Questions of foreign policy and defense are within the competence of the Dutch government. To enter the country, you must have a passport. For tourists arriving for up to 14 days a visa is not required. Weapons and drugs are prohibited from being imported into the country, although there are some indulgences for the latter. Import and export of currency is not limited.
