According to the College Board, there are 2 test centers for SAT and SAT Subject Tests in Guam. Please note that before you register either of the SAT exams, you should choose your test date and test location. Each testing location is affiliated with an educational institution, such as high school, community college, or university. The following test centers administer one or more of SAT tests in Guam.

Overview

Local items are sold in the Agaña Shopping Center. Marks Shopping Center in West Agaña and Gibson’s Shopping Center in Tamuning have an even larger selection. Watches, perfume, jewellery, spirits, china and cameras are good souvenirs (Kimura Camera in Agaña has excellent new and refurbished cameras). Shop opening times: Mon-Sat 10am-9pm, Sun 12pm-6pm.

Nightlife

Introduction

Music and dancing are offered in various nightclubs. Singers and musicians from the USA, or regional groups such as the Guam Symphony & Choral Society often perform in the larger hotels. In Tamuning, several cinemas show the latest American films.

Overview

The kitchen is related to the Spanish. There is a wide range of American, European, Chinese, Filipino, Indonesian, Japanese and Mexican restaurants.

Hotels

In the last 15 years tourism has increased considerably and numerous hotels have been built. Most of the hotels and tourist facilities are located around Tumon. Most hotels cater heavily to Japanese vacationers.

Predominantly Catholic (85%) and others.

Social Rules of Conduct

Western manners and customs are well known. However, visitors actually don’t need to understand the local customs as much as those of Japanese tourists. The most obvious heritage of the Chamorro culture is the Chamorro language and a mimic language of different facial expressions called the »eyebrow«.
