  • Saint Michael’s College is a private institution that was founded in 1904. Saint Michael’s College’s ranking in the 2021 edition of Best Colleges is National Liberal Arts Colleges, #120.
  • The university senate authorized St. Michael’s to administer its own examinations in philosophy. On December 8, 1910, St. Michael’s College became a federated college of the University of Toronto.
  • While mainly an undergraduate college for liberal arts and sciences, St. Michael’s retains its Roman Catholic affiliation through its postgraduate theology faculty.
