Georgia Law operates 11 clinics. Georgia offers a semester in practice in Washington, DC in fall and spring and a spring term overseas at Oxford University, England. Summer programs are held in China, Belgium and Switzerland. Overseas internships in law firms and government agencies also provide a chance for international experience.

A very successful advocacy program has, over the last 5 years, won 4 national titles, 11 regional competitions and 5 state titles. Georgia Law has three student journals and is home to a wide variety of student organizations, including the Equal Justice Foundation, the Federalist Society, the Black Law Students Association, the Environmental Law Association, and the Business Law Society.

The renovation project created a more productive learning and scholarly atmosphere for students by constructing additional student space to facilitate faculty/student interaction, provide more locations for small group study, and create additional student organization and administration office space.
