Summer externships are offered in Argentina, Cambodia, China, India, Vietnam & the Philippines. The McCarthy Institute promotes IP & Cyberlaw development, while focusing on the intersection of theory and practice. The Intensive Advocacy Program builds students’ litigation skills.

Details about the library and other facilities (as provided by the school) The Dorraine Zief Law Library features research, study, and training spaces equipped with enhanced technology and houses a collection of legal and interdisciplinary volumes. The adjacent Kendrick Hall has updated classrooms, a 70-seat moot courtroom, cafe, and student lounge. Both buildings, fully wireless, are part of USF’s 55 acre hilltop campus next to Golden Gate Park.

Career services operations The Office of Career Planning (OCP) provides printed and online resources, counseling, workshops, and other programs to meet the needs of students and alumni.
