UT Law provides an extensive clinical education program to help students incorporate law, theory, strategy, and skills in client settings. UT Law has twelve student edited law journals and over forty student organizations. The Society Program provides social and public service activities for students. Mentor groups, headed by upper-class students, advise first-year students. The Board of Advocates sponsors intramural advocacy competitions. Recent teams have won national and regional competitions.

It includes one of the largest academic law libraries in the US, the Connally Center, two large courtrooms (one state-of-the-art), and six smaller teaching courtrooms.
