Because we are a state institution, we give preference to qualified residents of KY. Applicants are selected on the basis of their individual merits without bias to sex, race, creed, national origin, age or handicap. They are chosen on the basis of intellect, integrity, maturity, and demonstrated sensitivity toward others. Significant weight is given to interview scores, which are held at the SOM.
