Factors and Procedures Used in Admissions

(Data appear as originally submitted by this school)

Full-time program
Applicants submit application material including transcripts, essays, resume, test scores and recommendations to the Admissions Committee. After an initial review, the Committee will invite all candidates being considered for admission to an interview. In addition to strong work experience and academic performance, the Committee considers an applicant’s sense of purpose, career goals, and fit.
Executive program
The Executive MBA program admits students for the Fall term only and evaluates candidates on a rolling admissions basis. Candidates are evaluated based on their professional experience (at least 5 years of managerial/decision making), maturity, two letters of recommendation, statement of career goals, resume, prior academic record and an interview by a member of the faculty.
Part-time program
Applicants for the Zicklin Part-Time MBA are reviewed based on their college transcripts, GMAT scores, resumes, essays, and their managerial accomplishments and potential. Admitted applicants typically have at least two years of full-time work experience.

Curricula Descriptions

(Data appear as originally submitted by this school)

Full-time program
The Zicklin Full-Time MBA Program features a rigorous curriculum that provides each student considerable autonomy in creating a program that best suits individual needs. The MBA core provides a strong foundation on which students layer more focused courses in their major and general elective selections. Internships, study abroad, and a consulting experience are all available for degree credit.
Executive program
All Executive MBA students enter as part of a cohort and follow the same program, built around six thematic trimesters. These involve the different stages of business development: the Entrepreneurial Enterprise, the Mid-cap Entity, the Global Business and the Management of the Large Corporation. A seven to ten day international study trip is a mandatory part of the curriculum.
Part-time program
Students in the Zicklin Part-Time MBA program may study at their own pace or pursue the 28 month Accelerated Part-Time (APT) MBA. The MBA Core covers all major functional areas. Every student is required to choose a major, many opt to pursue a dual major or self-designed general MBA. Internships, study abroad and a consulting experience are all available for credit.
